Mission Statement of the Great Octave

To create opportunities for individuals and communities from various spiritual traditions to work together to learn about and experience Sound Prayer® as a unifying force in fostering individual spiritual growth as well as peace and understanding between peoples and nations.

To foster the use of Sound Prayer, which transcends divisions of gender, race, religion and culture, both nationally and internationally, in the general public as well as in such places as prisons, health care institutions, underprivileged communities and refugee camps.

To teach the practice of Sound Prayer, to individuals and families suffering from trauma.

To sponsor conferences, symposium, discussion groups which bring together individuals from various spiritual traditions and scientific disciplines to:

  • explore the use and efficacy of sound in all spiritual traditions
  • explore the intersection between modern science (including quantum mechanics and superstring theory, Sound Prayer and sound healing.
  • to measure the efficacy of Sound Prayer for victims of trauma.

To provide physical locations designed to:
  • be conducive to the practice of Sound Prayer for spiritual growth and healing of illness
  • facilitate the coming together of individuals in order to share their experiences with Sound Prayer and other spiritual practices involving sound.


To create retreat settings which provide individuals, families and groups with the opportunity to explore the wisdom and practice of Sound Prayer in peaceful and healing environments.
