The Great Octave Foundation, a 501©(3) not-for-profit organization, is devoted to promoting the use of one such tool: Sound Prayer®. Sound Prayer enables creative approaches to resolving conflicts and overcoming trauma and the emotional/spiritual effects of illness. The Great Octave Foundation is committed to working with individuals and groups, as well as business and political leaders, corporations and philanthropic organizations, to further advance the use of Sound Prayer worldwide.
Sound Prayer is a meditative practice based on ancient teachings that utilizes the human voice to produce sounds that quiet the mind and comfort the body. Experience has shown that Sound Prayer releases creativity, facilitates consensus building, and generates feelings of validation, compassion, and a connection to a greater truth.
